Vehicle Technician
Location: Northampton
Salary: £28,700 - £34,500 basic, bonus is uncapped worth around £5000 on average with some techs earning in excess of £10,000.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours (can be worked with a degree of flexibility) with no weekend work!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients workshop based in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Learning and Development AcademyVehicle Technician responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesVehicle Technician requirements:
The ideal candiate will have Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance but this is not essential
Candiates must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance for consideration
