The Department of Geography at the University of Lincoln seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Human Geography and GIS on a Teaching and Research role profile. The team works with colleagues across the university, the wider sector and with industry beyond academia. Working with us will provide a stimulating, interdisciplinary and collegiate environment in the heart of a thriving, safe and friendly city and bustling campus. We support excellence in research and teaching, and you will be part of a team that provides a portfolio of qualifications at BA, BSc, MSc and PhD level. The post is offered full time on a Teaching and Research (TR) role profile, on an open-ended basis.

We are seeking a candidate who:
* Has a strong academic profile related to one or more of the Impacts of Climate Change, Inequalities, Planning, and/or Ecosystem Services.
* Has expertise in one or more of Spatial Analysis, Big Data, Remote Sensing, Artificial Intelligence and/or Statistics.

You should be an excellent communicator who will complement the department's existing teaching. We particularly encourage candidates who could support teaching across the wider BA and BSc Geography curricula, as well as these areas of specialist expertise. Geography is a hands-on discipline and you will be expected to contribute to both UK and overseas field trips.
