Overview
We are seeking to appoint two Non-Executive Directors who have operated at a senior level in large or complex organisations. Candidates should have strong financial acumen or a broader commercial background. The Board is also open to hearing from those with diverse experiences who feel they can make a contribution.
Our goal is to improve the lives of patients, families, carers, colleagues and volunteers across all our communities by challenging inequalities and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with the Chair and Executive Directors on the Board to advise on the development of strategy and oversee the performance of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
* Share collective responsibility with other Directors for the success of the Trust, using available resources to deliver healthcare and improve the health of local communities.
* Bring independence, external skills and perspectives, ensuring robust governance and high standards across the Trust’s activities.
* Engage with the Council of Governors through quarterly meetings and other forums.
Qualifications
* Senior level experience in large or complex organisations.
* Strong financial acumen or a broader commercial background.
* Demonstrated commitment to care, appreciation and inspiration as core values.
