We are pleased to be able to advertise for a PA Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs’ Surgeon to join our experienced team in Oxford ( PA). This is a new post. Located within the Thames Valley, Oxford’s service is a recognised centre of excellence with the region having one of the highest incidences of skin cancer in the UK. We have state of the art surgical, diagnostic and laboratory facilities in a purpose built unit with plans for additional investment in the estate to cope with increasing demand. We are keen to recruit a colleague, who will relish the opportunity of working and teaching in this inspirational environment and relishes the challenge of developing services across the region.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will use most of his/her time in clinical activities directly relating to Dermatology. The total NHS work load is PAs each week. The post-holder’s duties will be based at the Department of Dermatology, Churchill Hospital, Oxford, but part of this post may require delivery clinical activity at other outreach clinics. Their presence may from time to time be required in other parts of the Trusts. Clinical care may involve collaboration with and/or supervision of an intermediate dermatology service. The post-holder will also be required to maintain excellent links with primary care at a personal and administrative level.
