Role: Office Manager Location: Skipton Salary: £48,000- £55,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am- 5:00 pm Our client is a respected, growth driven professional services firm entering a key phase of expansion based on the outskirts of Skipton. They are creating a new Office Manager role positioned at the core of operational delivery, cultural cohesion and process excellence. This is a high impact opportunity for a proactive, forward thinking operator who thrives on improving systems, driving change and bringing a polished, credible presence to a well performing environment. While professional services experience is preferred, our client will consider outstanding candidates from other sectors who bring strong operational acumen, commercial awareness and the discipline to work within regulated, best practice environments. As Office Manager you will own the smooth, coordinated running of the business. You will take responsibility for process governance, risk aware operational management and act as a trusted partner to senior leadership. The role requires someone who takes initiative, sets clear standards and builds the operational infrastructure needed to support both current performance and future growth. Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager: Lead and optimise day to day office operations, ensuring every department is supported and working efficiently. Build, implement and continuously refine office systems, workflows and administrative processes. Champion best practice across the office, raising standards and embedding consistent use of procedures. Work closely with leadership to support operational planning, compliance expectations and business continuity. Oversee resource allocation, scheduling and operational priorities to ensure deadlines and service levels are met. Act as the point of escalation for operational matters, applying sound judgement and a solutions driven mindset. Support onboarding, induction and internal communication rhythms to enhance organisational cohesion. Maintain a culture of professionalism, confidentiality and high internal service standards. Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and process improvement, and lead the implementation of change initiatives. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in office management, ideally within a professional services environment. Strong background in overseeing office administration systems. A solid understanding of client confidentiality and its importance. Proactive approach. Possess a strong personality with a friendly character.
