Overview

Lead Clinician Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist – Skylarks School, Surrey (KT18 7LR). Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term-time options or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances.


Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the in-house Clinical Team at Skylarks School, working with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Provide a therapy caseload and deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH).
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and contribute to service development of the school-based clinical service.
* Collaborate with education teams to meet EHCP-based needs and utilise OFG group-wide clinical practices.
* Maintain a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach and support pupils to flourish and gain independence.


Essential Criteria

* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
* Current professional registration and membership (e.g., BPS)
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs
* Clear and concise clinical and research reporting
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and adapt within a growing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional collaboration; driving service development
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle


Location

Skylarks School, Surrey KT18 7LR. Skylarks School forms part of our Options Autism brand.


Salary & Hours

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent (term-time or flexible around a full-time contract can be discussed)
