Chef de Partie – Sushi

About the Role
House of Louie is launching an exciting new Japanese concept - and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Sushi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You'll be hands-on in preparing high-quality sushi, sashimi, and speciality rolls, playing a key part in delivering a premium dining experience in our beautifully refurbished restaurant.
What You Will Do
* Prepare sushi, sashimi, and speciality rolls to a high standard
* Ensure freshness, presentation, and food hygiene are consistently excellent
* Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in smooth kitchen operations
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient sushi station
* Follow food safety protocols at all times
* Help create a positive, energetic kitchen environment
* Share knowledge and learn from senior chefs as you grow in your role
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience in sushi preparation or Japanese cuisine
* Confident knife skills and a good eye for detail
* Solid understanding of food hygiene and safe fish handling
* A calm, reliable approach in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for quality, consistency, and presentation
* A strong team player with a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Projected Total Compensation: Up to £17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
