Farm Stockworker - Glamis & Forfar
The Role
Starting at £11.75 Per Hour rising to £11.95 Per Hour after probation. Further increments up to £12.35 after 1 year of employment.
Hours of work - Monday to Wednesday 8am to 5pm (approx). Thursday 5am to 2pm ( approx) (every 3 weeks). Friday 8am to 4pm. (Some weekend work is required on a rota basis).
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our team in in the Glamis and Blairgowrie area Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in the industry however if you love working outdoors and have an interest in agriculture this could be the perfect job for you – full training will be provided.

Key Accountabilities
Day to day tasks relating to feeding, bedding, movement of animals and general animal husbandry/Welfare.
Job duties include:
• Ensuring pig welfare
• Feed management
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
• Maintaining safe working practices
Skills and Experience Required
Some agriculture experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
You will need to be happy to work outside, and in all weathers and you will need to have some transport of your own as our farms are on remote sites away from any town centre.
