About the role - you will:
We are looking for an inspiring leader to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Specialists. As the team leader, you will oversee planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance across a wide range of complex manufacturing equipment. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of equipment availability and effectiveness.
You will:
* Manage a team of Technicians, including communicating goals, providing training and development opportunities, and giving performance feedback in a high-performing team environment.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including reporting accidents/incidents/work-related illnesses, conducting safety audits, and following standard operating procedures.
* Report on equipment condition, analyze breakdown patterns, and ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule using the maintenance database system.
* Lead downtime situations to resolve issues promptly, providing immediate response and timely resolution.
* Adapt plans and manage changes due to priorities, resources, policies, organizational changes, or technology updates.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
* Provide engineering advice and support to operational teams regarding equipment performance.
* Build cross-departmental relationships within the Springtown facility to improve work effectiveness.
* Focus on producing results that meet or exceed plans and goals.
About you:

* You are adaptable and can manage changes related to priorities, resources, policies, or technology.
Your experience includes:
* Demonstrated leadership within a high-performing team environment.
* Relevant Level 4 Qualification (e.g., Technical or Management) or Level 3 Qualification with 3 years relevant experience.
You may also have:
* A relevant health and safety qualification such as CSR gold, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
* A strong technical background with experience analyzing trends for preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

Work shifts are 12-hour onsite shifts, including days and nights, with a repeating rota. This is a full-time position working 42 hours per week. Testing may be part of the selection process.
