qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •WHO recognised Basic Medical Degree
2. •Full GMC with a licence to practise
Desirable criteria
3. •MD or PhD is not a requirement but would be looked upon favourably
clinical experience
Essential criteria
4. •Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT
5. •Evidence of experience and expertise in the diagnosis and management of haematological malignancies
6. •Evidence of the ability to offer expert clinical opinion in emergency and elective aspects of haematology taking full and independent responsibility for clinical decisions
7. Evidence of up to date skills in the management of patients with acute haematological emergencies and level 3 care
8. Confident in the diagnosis of haematological malignancies
9. Confident in routine laboratory haematology including bone marrow reporting
10. Evidence of an understanding of the structure of the NHS and how it works
