Fabricator Welder – Temp to Perm
Location: Deeside Pay Rate: £16.57–£17.83 per hour Hours: Full‑time Start: Immediate
We’re recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a leading manufacturing business in Deeside. This is a long‑term temp‑to‑perm role with excellent prospects and a supportive team environment.
Key Duties
1. Fabricating a range of sub‑components using profiles, sections, and plate materials (4mm–30mm+).
2. MIG/MAGS welding on mild steel to high quality standards.
3. Working from technical drawings and following precise tolerances.
4. Using workshop machinery including band saws and pedestal drills.
5. Carrying out JIG work (experience beneficial).
6. Completing production inspection sheets and maintaining accurate records.
7. Reporting faults or issues that may impact production.
8. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
9. Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements, including correct PPE and equipment use.
What We’re Looking For
10. Time‑served Fabricator Welder – essential.
11. Strong MIG/MAGS welding skills on mild steel.
12. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
13. Previous factory or production environment experience.
14. Confident working with various plate thicknesses and fabrication techniques.
15. JIG work experience – advantageous.
16. Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work to deadlines.
17. Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
