SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Implement specialised teaching techniques to support students with SEN Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to students' learning Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN support strategies and resources Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in SEN teaching or tutoring Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN Code of Practise Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology for SEN students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres Potential travel to students' homes or other locations for tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
