SENDCo / Inclusion Lead (4 or 5 days per week)

Brinkley Grove Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced SENDCo / Inclusion Lead to join our dedicated team. This is a key role within our school and will form part of the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for ensuring that inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
We are a welcoming, two-form entry primary school with a strong commitment to inclusive practice and high-quality provision for all children. We are looking for someone who shares our values and has the expertise, drive and compassion to lead this vital area of school life.
About the role
* Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
* Ensure effective, high-quality support is in place for all pupils with additional needs
* Work closely with children, families, staff and external agencies to secure the best outcomes
* Chair and lead meetings with a child-centred approach
* Provide guidance, training and support to staff, modelling excellent inclusive practice
* Contribute strategically as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
* Work alongside administrative support (afternoons) to ensure systems are efficient and effective
About you
* Has experience as a SENDCo or brings substantial relevant experience in SEND/inclusion
* Holds (or is willing to work towards) the SENDCo qualification
* Has a strong understanding of current SEND legislation and best practice
* Is an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with families and professionals
* Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child thrives
* Has the leadership skills to inspire and develop others
* Is flexible and recognises how to adapt
