We are seeking a passionate Bread Baker to join our team. As a Night Baker, you will play a vital role in supporting our bakery operations and ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for making doughs and a desire to work in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and production of various breads, including sourdoughs and gluten-free options.
2. Follow recipes and instructions to accurately measure and mix ingredients.
3. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, moulders, and hoppers.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
5. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
6. Lift up to 22 kg as needed.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Experience & Skills:
1. Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is preferred, but full training will be provided.
2. Experience moulding doughs.
3. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
4. Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
5. Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent time management to meet production deadlines.
7. Ability to drive or reside in the area is preferred.
Job Details:
1. Position: Night Baker
2. Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM; Thursday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM; Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
3. Hours: 40 hours per week plus overtime
4. Pay: £14 per hour
5. Location: Ingatestone (required)
6. Job Types: Full-time, Fixed-term contract (12 months)
