Do you love the magic of Christmas? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team during the busy seasonal period. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Seasonal team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a positive immersive experience while assisting with various tasks throughout the site.
We are an outdoor family friendly Christmas event near Mold, offering an immersive experience. We have various positions available please see below the details of positions offered along with event dates.
Positions:
* Parking Stewards - This is an out door all weather position, greeting and guiding visitors as they arrive to start their Christmas experience. You are the 1st face they see, so applicant must be friendly, approachable and welcoming. (Weekday hours from 3.30pm-8pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-8pm, please see dates below).
* Check-In - This is an indoor position in a fast paced area. Must be able to work at speed, accurately checking visitors tickets whilst providing them with the relevant information for their visit. Applicants must be fast and accurate to minimise queues. (Weekday hours from 3.30pm-8pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-8pm, please see dates below).
* Land Train Drivers - We are looking for jolly individuals as you are part of the immersive character experience. You must have experience driving long / trailored vehicles. Position is mainly undercover in the cab driving but role also includes vehicle safety checks and fuelling prior to each shift and cleanliness of cabs. (Weekday hours from 3pm-8.30pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9am-8.30pm, please see dates below).
* Refreshment Stall - This is an indoor position as a costumed character serving visitors with tea, coffee and light refreshments and preparing marshmallows for toasting. This is a fast paced area so organisation to ensure area cleanliness at all times is essential. Duties involve stocking and prepping of area before and after each shift, stock replenishment and providing stock updates/needs at the end of each shift. (Weekday hours from 3pm-9pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-9pm, please see dates below).
* Food Outlet - This is an indoor position on our jacket potato unit. Preparing and cooking to ensure there are always jacket potatoes and fillings to serve the visitors. This is a character position (costume provided) duties involve taking orders and payments, serving customers, cooking potatoes, prepping fillings, keeping work area clean and tidy, stock takes and clean downs. Providing a list of products needed to the manager at the end of each shift. Must have a in date food hygiene certificate. (Weekday hours from 3pm-9.30pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9am-9.30pm, please see dates below).
* Retail Assistants - Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, providing knowledgeable and friendly service in the various retail areas of gift shop, sweet shop, photo sales. Maintain the presentation of merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring displays are tidy and well-stocked. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. (Weekday hours from 3.30pm-9.30pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-9.30pm, please see dates below).
* Activities Assistants - This is an indoor position working as a character (costume provided) leading various activities from VR sleigh ride, Craft (bauble making) and Hook a Duck. Individuals need to be energetic, lively and inviting to each activity. Take ownership and pride of their areas, restocking craft and hook a duck, keeping areas tidy at all times. (Weekday hours from 3.30pm-9.30pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-9.30pm, please see dates below).
* Elves - We have a few elf positions available, these include helping santa in his grotto, sorting room, fire pit, post office, theatre ushers. Majority of these positions are indoors or undercover. Must be able to communicate with all ages. Costume and training provided. (Weekday hours from 3.30pm-10pm, weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9.30am-10pm, please see dates below).
Please Note:
* Interviews will be held online via Teams no later than the 10th November.
* The onsite training date listed is mandatory not optional, Time TBC.
* Experience is not essential but is preferred, full training will be given.
* All positions (excluding parking and check in) make up the immersive experience so costumes are required (provided) All applicants must be able to stay in character to their allocated position.
* Hours listed are approximate and will be confirmed on rota.
* Own transport to commute is essential due to location.
* Hourly rate is NMW for age and will be discussed during interview
