Build quality. Support production. Be part of a great local team. We’re looking for a Factory Assistant to join our busy manufacturing operation at Weldit in Luton. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to be part of a hardworking, supportive team. As a Factory Assistant, you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly — from packing finished products to supporting the team on the factory floor. What You’ll Be Doing Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch Operating light sheet metal machinery safely and efficiently Keeping the factory floor clean, organised and safe Supporting the production team with general factory duties Working to high standards of quality and accuracy What We’re Looking For Reliable, hands-on and eager to learn A strong team player with good attention to detail Physically fit and safety-conscious Previous factory or machinery experience is helpful, but not essential Eligible to work in the UK What We Offer Full training and ongoing support A stable role in a well-established local business A friendly, committed team environment A focus on quality, safety and doing things properly Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm Holiday: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays This is a great opportunity to join a respected local manufacturer where your contribution really matters.
