Lawnswood School is a thriving school with strong leadership and a dedicated and supportive team of staff. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ mentality, and the drive and determination to ensure that the students with whom you work can overcome barriers to learning and progress; helping to keep them safe, happy and successful throughout their time with us.
We are excited to be looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our onsite alternative provision. You will be supporting students across the key stages and must be confident in your ability to work with secondary aged pupils. Ideally, this post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, either secondary or from alternative provision, however, we would consider candidates new to the role and provide the relevant training.
Closing date: Friday 7 July at 9.00am.
Application Process:
Please send your completed application form (Support Staff version) with a covering letter (of no more than 2 sides A4), addressed to Mrs. J. Bell, preferably by email to: hr@elawnswood.co.uk or by post to Mrs J Bell, Lawnswood School, Ring Road, West Park, Leeds LS16 5AG.
Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments made are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. If shortlisted, you will be required to disclose relevant information regarding criminal history and an on-line search will be conducted. This includes only information publicly available on-line.
We promote equality, diversity and inclusion and want a workforce which reflects the population of Leeds.
