Our client, is currently seeking a Highway Delivery Manager for a contract position. This exciting opportunity involves working on the Area 3 Maintenance and Response (M&R) Contract, focusing on the maintenance of motorways and trunk roads in the South East of England. The position is based at the Motorway Maintenance Compound.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing highway maintenance projects within the Area 3 ASC contract
Ensuring compliance with strategic highways and section HA04 regulations
Overseeing the delivery of maintenance operations on motorways and trunk roads
Coordinating with various stakeholders including National Highways and contractors
Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery to standards
Implementing safety management systems and ensuring all works comply with health and safety regulations
Reporting on project statuses and maintenance activities
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the projects
Job Requirements:
Experience in highway maintenance and delivery
In-depth knowledge of strategic highways and section HA04 regulations
Hold a CMSTS card
Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Proven capability in reporting and documentation
Ability to work on a contract basis in Winchester
