Role Responsibilities
As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of the Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young people (aged 16-21) across two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your role will involve:
* Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, sharing our commitment to their well-being.
* Supporting the physical, social, and emotional development of the young residents.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can bring empathy and compassion to our night-time team. Your skills and qualities should include:
* Ability to offer support and understanding during challenging night hours.
* Proficiency in using a computer for accurate record-keeping.
* Knowledge of procedures for reporting missing young people.
* Effective communication with out-of-office support, including The On Call team.
* Professionalism in answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
* Being a positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
