The Head Teacher and Governors of Pentrebane Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and reflective teacher to join our expanding Autism resource base to provide the best for our children. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a strong interest in additional needs to use their talents to join a dedicated team. Pentrebane is a small Primary school with approximately 200 pupils, 30 of whom are in the Autism resource base.
We are seeking to appoint a strong and compassionate teacher who:
•Is experienced in ALN, particularly those pupils whose primary need is social communication
•Is passionate about giving all pupils the opportunity to fulfil their potential
•Is able to work under their own initiative and manage their own time
•Has high expectations for themselves and of our pupils
•Is a highly effective team member.
