We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join a close-knit HR team and provide expert, pragmatic ER support across a multi-site organisation.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting a wide range of employee relations matters while delivering a high-quality, legally compliant HR service.
The Role:
* Advising managers on disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance management, and pay & benefits
* Preparing for and responding to Employment Tribunal cases
* Tracking and reporting on ER casework and trends
* Providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law implications
* Maintaining accurate HR and payroll records and handling sensitive data confidentially
* Supporting and guiding managers through consultation processes, including TUPE and redundancy
* Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to exit
* Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as required
About You:
* Strong experience managing ER cases, including disciplinaries and grievances
* Experience supporting a customer-facing, multi-site workforce
* Knowledge of TUPE, redundancy, and consultation processes
* Experience preparing for or supporting Employment Tribunal cases
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and remain resilient under pressure
* A high level of discretion and professionalism
* CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential
