Ashton Recruitment require a part-time Warehouse Operative / Parcel Sorter for our client based in Mallusk.
Position: Evening Parcel Sorter
Location: Mallusk, Newtownabbey
Working Hours: 26 hours per week
Monday 4pm to 8pm
Tuesday 4pm to 12am
Wednesday 4pm to 10pm
Thursday 4pm to 8pm
Friday 4pm to 8pm
Duration: Temporary (Dependent on performance permanent opportunities may arise)
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Duties will include:
* Unload and load trailers, and containers with products
* Heavy, repetitive lifting
* Sorting parcel by postcode and placing them in appropriate cages
* Ensuring parcels are handled safely to prevent damage
* Prepare and pack products for shipment
* Place labels on packages to identify them
* Follow all safety regulations and policies
* Perform other duties as required by supervisor or manager
Essential Criteria:
* Previous warehouse experience
* Ability to carry heavy packages
* Flexible to cover other shifts when required
Desirable Criteria:
* Drivers License and own transport due to location and working hours
