Hours
Permanent afternoons. Monday to Thursday 1.00 pm to 10.00 pm plus 2.5 hours to be worked on a Friday.
Salary
£37,000 - £40,000.

About the role
Reactive and preventative maintenance of a wide range of production machinery and equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure equipment reliability.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on mechanical and electrical systems according to your specialism.
- Install and commission new machinery and equipment.
- Identify root causes of faults and implement long-term solutions.
- Experience working with automated production equipment is preferred.
- Support production to achieve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets and work to minimise downtime and improve machine performance.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Work in line with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Follow safe systems of work, permits, and LOTO procedures.
About You
- Ideally apprentice trained with either Mechanical or electrical qualifications with strong fault finding skills.
- Experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing is essential.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance (PPM) and of using CMMS.
- Understanding of health & safety practices.
- Good problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
