Due to our Reservations department at YOTEL Glasgow requiring to be set up, the Reservations Manager will be instrumental in creating the department policies and procedures.

Reporting to the
General
Manager
, the Reservations Manager will serve as a key member of the hotel senior management team.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:
The role will lead a Pre-Arrival team in the future (what we call our Reservations team) on property that will handle individual, group reservations and event enquiries for the hotel.
Coach and develop the Pre-Arrival team to ensure they are confident,
motivated
and empowered when interacting with our guests.
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all reservations, processing all details according to the hotels policy and procedures and ensuring the yield is
maximised at all times
.
Collaborate with the senior hotel management team to drive innovation and continued development of the guest journey.
Alongside these key competencies, the incumbent of the role will
be required
to
demonstrate
the fundamentals of the companys Values.
The skills we are looking for are:
Previous
experience in a managerial level role, preferably with 3-5 years as an Assistant Reservations Manager in a larger property or Reservations Manager of
a similar size
property
Department set-up
experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
Desirable: Used Opera Cloud.
