and main responsibilities
To act autonomously as a clinical expert in the management of sepsis, supporting and guiding the Multidisciplinary team across the Trust in the delivery of best evidence-based care/treatment To develop and implement up to date guidelines and policies in line with National recommendations/ guidelines Conduct educational sessions through informal (clinical environment), formal (lectures) and simulation training on sepsis to the whole Multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with clinicians to ensure compliance with the Trusts guidelines and policies for the management of sepsis Monitor and analyse the Trust sepsis data, identifying trends and future direction for service improvement. Report into the Trusts Deteriorating Patient Group presenting on data and improvement plans associated with Sepsis. Actively participate and lead, where appropriate, in patient safety initiatives, aligning sepsis management with the broader Trusts goals associated with the Deteriorating patient group

1. Relevant Clinical experience in acute care

3. Previous experience of working with acutely ill or septic patients
