Welder Fabricator

Within our newly expanded state-of-the-art workshop facilities, as a Welder Fabricator, you will be integral to the continued success of the After Sales Service Department. You will proactively deliver high-quality body shop projects ensuring our customer experience standards are met.

Day-to-day duties include:
* Repair and refurbish HGV and trailer bodywork, including panels, bumpers, and structural components
* Carry out welding activities and fabrication tasks using proper techniques and health and safety practices
* Diagnose damage and perform corrective repairs caused by wear and tear, corrosion, or accidents
* Prepare and carry out bodywork paint refreshes and finishes to a high standard
* Install and repair tail lifts on damaged vehicles
* Fit curtains to curtain-sided vehicles and trailers
* Dismantle vehicles for repairs and reassemble, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop operations and that customer requirements are met on time and to standard
Requirements:
* Passion for customer satisfaction and trust in our brand
* Proven experience as a body shop technician; HGV and trailer experience is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
* Familiarity with paint preparation and spraying processes
* Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving
