MaintenanceTechnician (Electrical / Multi-skill)

Contract-Permanent-40 hours per week
Hours:Early7:00- 16:00 pm Late: 14:00 till 23:00pm
Workingdays:Monday-Friday
About the Role
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias and a proactive approach? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our on-site engineering team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a broad range of electrical and mechanical building services systems, helping ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including LV systems, lighting, BMS, and power distribution.
* Support the maintenance of mechanical systems such as boilers, pumps, AHUs, and sanitary ware where competent.
* Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for out-of-hours response.
* Work in line with the Permit to Work system and all relevant health and safety standards.
* Accurately log and update tasks using CAFM/IT systems and handheld devices.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and report any issues.
* Support energy-saving initiatives and contribute to compliance and performance reviews.
Candidate Profile
* HND, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a relevant electrical discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical building services and plant engineering.
* Sound understanding of mechanical systems.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Flexible and able to travel to support other sites when required.
* Previous AP/CP designation (e.g. LV, Working at Heights) is preferred but not essential.
