Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Salary: £36,822 + £67.50 per sleep-in (10–12 per month)
Location: Abergavenny – Own transport essential

The Role: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home
You will support the Registered Manager in running a welcoming, safe and high-quality children’s home in Abergavenny, currently supporting three young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs (SEMH) arising from adverse childhood experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring energy, creativity, resilience and a “can-do” approach.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
* QCF Level 3 Children & Young People (or equivalent)
* Level 5 Leadership & Management (preferred but not essential)
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior or Team Leader
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external agencies
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Driver (company car/minibus provided during shifts)
* Ability to work the 2 on / 3 off shift pattern (including sleep-ins)
