Site Supervisor / Contracts Manager

About Phoenix New Build
Phoenix New Build is a growing company based in Stoke-on-Trent, delivering gas infrastructure to new build housing developments across the West Midlands.
The Role
This is a hands‑on role overseeing site operations, materials, quality, and coordination with site teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day‑to‑day site activities across multiple new build sites
* Check and interpret drawings to ensure works are carried out correctly
* Manage and monitor on‑site materials and deliveries
* Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and contractors to maintain production
* Ensure all health & safety standards are followed on site
* Maintain and check all required site paperwork and documentation
* Inspect and sign off quality at 1st fix and 2nd fix stages
* Oversee the first 12 weeks of maintenance, managing on‑site labour to ensure any issues are resolved efficiently
* Identify and resolve on‑site issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
* Experience in construction, utilities, or new build housing
* Previous site supervision or contracts management experience
* Strong understanding of site processes and quality control
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Ability to read and work from drawings
Essential
* Valid CSCS Card
* Ideally coming from a gas/plumbing background although not essential
