We are recruiting a skilled or semi-skilled Mechanic/Technician with industry experience to join our team. Based across our depots in Leeds and Wakefield, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our fleet of tankers, vehicles, and plant machinery—ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Whether it's scheduled maintenance or an urgent repair, our vehicles must always be reliable. That's why we're looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and has the attention to detail that keeps our operation moving.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily and weekly maintenance on vehicles, tankers, plant, and equipment.
* Diagnose and repair reported defects promptly and effectively.
* Complete pre-PMI checks to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
* Undertake repairs and servicing on hydraulic systems and electrical control systems across a wide range of specialist vehicles.
* Perform minor accident damage repairs where required.
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out in line with company procedures.
About You
* Proven experience as a Vehicle/Tanker Mechanic, Technician, or Fitter (or similar role).
* Strong working knowledge of vehicle, machinery, and plant maintenance procedures.
* Confident in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
* Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and electrical controls.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality repairs.
* Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
* Proactive, problem-solving approach with a "can-do" attitude.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle/mechanical maintenance (desirable).
