Responsibilities
Undertake structural examinations of bridges to identify actual and potential defects across the rail network.
Support informed decision‑making regarding quality and safety objectives.
Collect site data and carry out Hidden Critical Element assessments.
Qualifications
* Full STE04 capability and prior experience as a Structures Examiner in the rail industry.
* Degree or HNC level education.
* PTS certification.
* Valid driving licence and fit to work on track.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to undertake on‑call duties when required.
Benefits
* Salary £44,000 – £45,000.
