HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers
Overview:
Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers to join our team. As an essential part of our transport department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate and drive HGV C+E vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
2. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure safety.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
4. Communicate effectively with the office team and report incidents or issues.
5. Maintain accurate records of hours driven, miles covered, and goods delivered.
6. Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods, maintaining high customer service standards.
Qualifications:
1. Valid HGV C+E (Class-1) licence.
2. Driver CPC qualification.
3. Proven experience as an HGV C+E driver (preferred but not essential).
4. Clean driving record.
5. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Flexibility for long hours and travel, as operations are within the events industry with varied start and finish times.
Day-to-day:
1. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform maintenance as needed.
2. Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries.
3. Communicate with the office and customers regarding delivery updates.
4. Maintain safety and professionalism in representing the company.
