Job Description
3. Lead the end-to-end procurement function for the hygiene care division, covering sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials.
4. Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost‑effective, timely, and quality‑compliant purchasing.
5. Manage import operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and efficient logistics handling.
6. Conduct detailed product costing and support pricing decisions to maintain competitiveness.
7. Track market trends and commodity movements to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize sourcing.
8. Drive new product development procurement, collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams.
9. Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships, both domestic and global, ensuring reliability and performance.
10. Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements, ensuring long‑term value and compliance.
11. Supervise and guide the procurement team, setting KPIs and fostering continuous improvement.
12. Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and legal requirements across all procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
13. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
14. 10-16 years of strong procurement experience, ideally within the hygiene care or FMCG industry.
15. Deep expertise in imports, global sourcing, and commodity management.
16. Proven capability in product costing, supplier negotiations, and end-to-end contract management.
17. Demonstrated success in leading procurement initiatives and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
18. Strong analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and solid leadership qualities.
19. Good understanding of international trade practices, import regulations, and relevant supply chain software/tools.
20. Must have hands-on experience managing procurement for both Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).
21. Requires a strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities to balance cost, quality, and supplier reliability.
