Location: Sheffield Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview As a Technical Conveyancing Auditor, you will work closely with the Directors and Senior Management Team within PMPL and PM Law conveyancing trading styles. This key role focuses on people, compliance, and best practices, supporting the technical and tactical development of teams handling PM Law conveyancing files, especially across branch offices. You will act as a key point of contact for PM Law conveyancing trading styles. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular and ad hoc audits of conveyancing matters, making recommendations to ensure compliance and maintain high standards. Ensure departmental compliance with Service Legal Agreements, internal processes, SRA, AML regulations, and CQS Core Practice Management Standards. Analyze audit data and prepare detailed reports highlighting any compliance breaches. Provide feedback to Management, Managers, and staff on audit and compliance outcomes. Support embedding compliance and quality processes across branch offices, including audit and monitoring activities. Collate, maintain, and report data from identified practice areas. Collaborate with Managers to incorporate audit findings into performance management, training needs, and personal development plans. Keep managers updated on changes to SRA, CQS, ICO, GDPR, and other compliance standards. Meet strict deadlines and comply with business SLAs and KPIs. Promote and inspire best practices and high standards of work. Attend and actively participate in management meetings as required. Effectively utilize and promote the Case Management IT system. Deliver training, coaching, and support as needed. Requirements Qualified solicitor or substantial relevant litigation experience within a conveyancing department of a law firm or CLC practice. Experience preparing recommendations, solutions, and reports for senior management. Experience providing guidance to junior team members. Strong overall knowledge of litigation processes and tactical approaches to achieve optimal results. Excellent analytical, drafting, and research skills. Ability to prioritise workload efficiently. Commercial awareness, proactive mindset, and clear communication skills for all internal stakeholders. Highly organised, detail-oriented, with strong planning and prioritisation abilities. Flexible approach to meet deadlines and maintain consistent communication. Ability to advise on compliance, quality, and standards relevant to PM Law and adapt to evolving guidance.
