The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Repairs Manager to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. You will be based out of our Croydon office working on one of our social housing contracts delivering reactive maintenance to residents.
Key Accountabilities will include:
1. Lead a team of Supervisors, Administrators, Planners, and Operatives.
2. Manage, monitor, review, and oversee customer satisfaction across the contract.
3. Ensure large multi-trade jobs are booked in by the scheduling team and clarified for trades and timeframes.
4. Ensure operatives adhere to attendance, mobile phone, driving, no smoking, and substance policies, taking appropriate action if policies are not followed.
5. Work closely with the Commercial team to identify and rectify invoicing issues affecting contract profit and loss margins.
6. Ensure Health and Safety compliance in accordance with our Wates Operating Framework.
We are looking for an
An experienced Repairs Manager who:
1. Has Repairs and Maintenance sector experience.
2. Proven track record in managing large Maintenance contracts.
3. Experience in managing a large and diverse direct labour organization and supply chain.
4. Full compliance and proven track record in Health and Safety management.
5. Commercial acumen in running large Maintenance contracts.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
