Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring/group sessions to GCSE Maths students (Evenings)
- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalised lesson plans to address their specific areas of improvement
- Utilise effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance students' understanding and retention of the material
- Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure alignment with classroom curriculum
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Skills:
- Strong tutoring skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special education needs
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
