Working across commercial and residential sites throughout the Southwest, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service delivery while supporting customers with fire and security systems.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance across fire and security systems.</li><li>Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Undertake repairs, remedial works and emergency callouts.</li><li>Deliver small works projects, including system upgrades, additions and modifications.</li><li>Configure and commission systems following installation or upgrade works.</li><li>Ensure all service reports, certificates and documentation are completed accurately.</li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships.</li><li>Support continuous improvement and maintain high standards of workmanship.</li></ul><h3>Systems & Technologies</h3><ul><li>Fire Alarm Systems:

<ul><li>Galaxy / Texecom / Pyronix</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Candidate Requirements</h3><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>Proven experience within a Fire & Security service, maintenance or small works role.</li><li>Experience servicing and fault‑finding on fire alarms, access control, CCTV and intruder alarms.</li><li>Ability to commission, configure and test systems.</li><li>Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.</li><li>Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>ECS or CSCS card.</li><li>IPAF / PASMA / SSSTS.</li><li>Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.</li></ul><h3>Whats on Offer</h3><ul><li>£33,000 - £44,000 basic salary + uncapped overtime opportunities</li><li>Company vehicle with private use permitted</li><li>Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way</li><li>Company phone and laptop/tablet</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays</li><li>Additional annual leave awarded for length of service (up to 5 extra days)</li><li>FIA Level 3 qualification funded within the first 6 months</li><li>Manufacturer training and ongoing technical development</li><li>On‑call allowance of £50 per week with minimal callout requirements</li><li>Minimum 4‑hour payment for any callout attended</li></ul></div>
