Due to growth plans at the site, they are looking for a number of mechanical maintenance technician to join their engineering team. Role & Responsibilities: Working as part of a team of 14 engineers on site Carry out all planned & unplanned maintenance, inspection & fault finding for all industrial mechanical systems, equipment and assets on site Working on boiler & steam systems, CHP, pipework, feed conveyors, industrial plant equipment, bearings shafts, drives, pumps, valves Mechanical workshop activities - make parts, machining, welding, fabrication, fitting, brazing Contribute towards the planning of mechanical stripdowns & overhauls for plant shutdowns Liaise daily with specialist contractors on site, create RAMS, organise & manage contractors Maintain stock levels for spares, update PPM's, method statements and maintain CMMS Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must have at least 5 years experience working in a medium to large industrial facility Working knowledge of CMMS, contractor management, creating RAMS Transferable industries - recycling, power generation, energy, utilities, industrial manufacturing Strong mechanical fault finding, overhauls, stripdowns and repairs experience NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering Ideally have completed a time-served-apprenticeship Happy with working on a call-out-rota, do overtime and longer hours during shutdown periods Must have dealt with large mechanical equipment Mechanical fabrication, fitting, welding, machining experience 'To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]'. - Chris Gumm - 01908 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
