Job Title: Injection Moulding Setter
Location: Stockton
Hourly Rate: £16.78 – £18.34 per hour (depending on shift & experience)
Shifts:

* Monday – Thursday: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

* Friday: 6am–1pm, 1pm–8pm, 8pm–3am

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, process optimisation, and ensuring all products meet strict quality standards. You will manage your own shift with support from a small team, allowing you to focus on minimising downtime and achieving consistently high levels of performance.

This role requires proven experience in injection moulding along with an IMT Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification. The ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and maintain production flow is essential.

Shifts operate on a weekly rotation as follows:

* Monday – Thursday: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

* Friday: 6am–1pm, 1pm–8pm, 8pm–3am

Skills & Experience:

To be successful as an Injection Moulding Setter, you will need:

* IMT Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent) – essential

* Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in manufacturing

* Strong technical expertise in setup, troubleshooting, and optimisation of moulding machines

* Experience with a wide range of materials

* A proactive, quality-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to maintain accurate production and maintenance records

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and prepare injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment

* Monitor and adjust parameters to achieve efficiency and product quality

* Conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards

* Diagnose and resolve machine or process-related issues quickly

* Maintain accurate production and maintenance documentation

* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

* Support and mentor operators where required
