EHC Plan Writer
Contract: Interim – Initial 3 months
Location: Remote
Rate: £200 per day (umbrella) (£152 PAYE per day)
Hours: Full time
We are supporting a Local Authority in the East Midlands to recruit an experienced EHC Plan Writer on an interim basis. This is a fully remote opportunity focused purely on writing, with no caseworker responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
Produce high-quality, compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Lead on plan amendments and annual reviews
Ensure documentation meets statutory requirements and deadlines
Work efficiently to manage a high-volume caseload of plansRequirements:
Proven experience writing EHCPs within a Local Authority setting
Strong background in amendments and annual reviews
Ability to produce clear, accurate plans at pace
Experience using Idox is desirableThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced EHCP writers seeking a flexible, remote contract with a competitive daily rate and a focused scope of work.
