To lead a team of Employment Specialists on the WLA Connect To Work programme supporting disabled people and those with learning difficulties into employment, providing training, mentoring, supervision, and ensuring compliance with the IPS/Supported Employment approach. The role involves delivering quality service standards in a designated area to meet contract targets such as referrals, engagement activity, employment outcomes, and Fidelity delivery compliance.
The postholder will communicate with key stakeholders, including employers, Jobcentre Plus, local authorities, community services, and other partners, to ensure local community integration of the provision. They will support the Service Manager in maximizing service outcomes and collaborate with the wider Connect To Work team.
The individual will hold overall accountability for KPIs and Fidelity results in their area and address any under-performance promptly. This is a peripatetic role; the successful candidate will work in the community with their home as a base, and expenses will be paid from the first location.
