* Performing excellent market research to ensure that every aspect of the project meets the needs of the market, using such tools as questionnaires, academic calling, and class testing
* Maintaining close ties with key stakeholders (including external vendors, authors, Commissioning Editors, librarians, academics and researchers) to ensure clear lines of communication and successful working relationships.
Ideally you should be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, show good attention to detail, demonstrate the ability to communicate well with different parts of the business, show good problem-solving skills, work well both independently and as part of a team, and possess a positive attitude. A willingness to work with confidence, flexibility, and creativity will also be an advantage.
* The successful candidate will ideally be educated to BA level (or equivalent) or will have experience of working within a publishing house, demonstrating a good working knowledge of the industry.
