About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. This part‑time permanent position requires flexible working and includes weekend shift work. The role involves interacting warmly and confidently with customers, resolving issues, assembling and processing prescriptions accurately, and driving awareness of additional pharmacy services. You will support the Pharmacist with delivery and record keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes, and you will collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries for in‑store collection.
You will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months and then progress to training as a Dispensing Assistant, furthering your pharmacy career.

You are naturally friendly, highly organized, and keen to work within a team to deliver great results. You possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and strong customer communication. You enjoy problem solving and are passionate about helping people, delivering a great healthcare experience.
