Interim Compliance Manager – £400–£500 per day

Are you an experienced compliance professional ready to take on a high-impact interim role?
We're seeking a
Compliance Manager
to lead on all areas of statutory compliance across a diverse housing portfolio. This is an opportunity to shape compliance strategy, manage key risk areas, and ensure residents and stakeholders have safe homes and environments.
The role will include:
* Overseeing compliance programmes across
fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella, lifts, and mechanical systems
* Leading a small compliance team and managing specialist contractors
* Developing assurance reports for senior leadership and driving continuous improvement
* Managing budgets of £3.5m+ and ensuring full value for money
* Delivering audits, inspections, and robust contractor performance monitoring
* Supporting organisational resilience through risk management and incident planning
We're looking for someone with:
* Strong background in housing, local authority, or facilities management compliance
* Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary compliance programmes
* Knowledge of building safety legislation (Fire Safety Order 2005, etc.)
* A collaborative approach, able to influence at senior level and build confidence across the organisation
This is a
dynamic, fast-paced contract

£400–£500 (depending on experience)

Hybrid – flexibility required for site and office visits
