Position: Part‑Time Office Administrator (Maternity Leave Replacement)
Points of reference: Point 3 (FTE £24,796 per year, approx. £7,845 pro‑rata)
Hours: 14 hours per week, 38 weeks per year – 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Thursday & Friday.
Commencing: September 2026.
About the role
The role involves liaising with parents, collating information, answering phones and relaying messages, and supporting general office tasks.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with parents, staff and pupils regarding school matters.
* Collate and manage information and documentation.
* Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
* Provide general administrative support to the school office.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in a school or office environment and strong computing skills.
* Excellent communication and safeguarding awareness.
* Enthusiastic, friendly, ambitious and committed to improving children’s lives through education.
* Highly organised, conscientious and able to prioritise a busy workload.
* Collaborative, clear communicator with colleagues, parents and pupils.
* Can‑do attitude and initiative.
