Part-Time Housekeeper or Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny Position in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time housekeeper or a full-time housekeeper/nanny to join a relaxed and down-to-earth young family in their newly built barn conversion. This family consists of a new baby and two dogs; while there are no dog-related duties involved, being pet-friendly is preferred. They are looking to hire either a Part-Time Housekeeper to work alongside another full-time housekeeper for three full days per week, or a Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny to work Monday to Friday. This role will involve assisting with household tasks and caring for the baby when the mother needs to step out. This is a wonderful family to be part of with a positive atmosphere in the home. They genuinely care about their employees. The household staff includes a chef, a handyman, and a gardener.
Duties:
1. Cleaning, laundry, and ironing
2. Wardrobe management
3. Food preparation and occasional cooking
4. Occasional serving duties when hosting guests (mostly buffet-style)
5. Other ad hoc duties, such as running errands, ordering stock, and grocery shopping
The Ideal Candidate someone with experience in private households who is comfortable working in a close-knit team. Discretion is essential, along with a friendly and cheerful demeanor. You must have a clean driving license and experience with babies or young children.
Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM
Salary:
Housekeeper: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, pro-rata for three days per week
Housekeeper/Nanny: Negotiable; please provide your salary expectations
