Practitioner (Scotland) Contributing to the protection of children and young people Location- Leith Work hours - 37.5hrs per week Salary - £40,149 per annum (fixed term contract to 31st March 2027) About You and the role Discover how your skills and passions align with our mission in this exciting opportunity The role will involve delivering psycho-educational individual and group work to adults who are concerned about sexual thoughts, feelings and behaviours towards children. Assessments of clients and answering calls to our Scotland helpline will be a key part of this role. The majority of referrals will be adults who are under investigation or have been arrested for online sexual offences, including accessing child sexual abuse material. This is a highly rewarding role making a genuine difference to children’s lives. It involves working within a friendly, supportive and hardworking team which is committed to keeping children safe from sexual harm. Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic Practitioner with a proven ability to drive projects to achieve required outcomes. You will be professional, proactive and outcome-focused with exceptional communication and engagement skills and an ability to develop partnership ways of working with professionals and agencies.
