Company Description
The Littlehampton Fort Restoration Project began its journey in 2011 and subsequently became a charity. The project aims to save, conserve and rebuild a Fort built on the banks of the River Arun alongside Littlehampton. The project is comprised entirely of volunteers who are not paid for these roles.
Role Description
Volunteer Opportunities – Trustee Roles Available
The Littlehampton Fort Restoration Project is currently seeking two dedicated volunteers to join our board of Trustees:
Fort Secretary
General Trustee
This is a part-time, ad hoc, voluntary role and living near the Littlehampton area would be beneficial, as we meet every couple of months for meetings. Other times Ms Teams/Zoom calls are used for meetings/
These roles are vital to the ongoing development and governance of our organisation as we work to preserve an important part of Littlehampton's heritage.
Qualifications
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
* Interest in heritage preservation and restoration projects
