A leading Legal 500 firm with a standout reputation in healthcare and regulatory law is seeking a Legal Director or Partner to join its expanding Healthcare Regulatory team, with a national remit.
This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role within a highly regarded practice, handling complex, high-profile regulatory matters while playing a key part in shaping and growing the firm’s healthcare offering across the regions.
The Role
* Lead on a wide range of healthcare regulatory matters, including inquests, disciplinary proceedings, public inquiries and CQC investigations
* Act for healthcare professionals, providers and organisations in proceedings before statutory regulators such as the GMC, GDC, GPhC and NMC
* Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with healthcare providers, insurers and medical bodies
* Drive business development and regional growth, particularly across the North West, supported by a strong national platform
* Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
* Raise the firm’s profile through speaking engagements, networking and thought leadership
* Deliver consistently high-quality client service while meeting agreed billing and performance targets
The Candidate
* Established Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner with strong experience in healthcare regulatory law
* Confident handling sensitive, high-stakes and high-profile matters
* Commercially minded, with a proven ability to win work and grow client relationships
* A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others
* Strategic, ambitious and ready to make a meaningful impact within a market-leading practice
