We are partnering with an exceptional SEN school that has proudly maintained an Outstanding OFSTED rating for over 21 years. This specialist school supports children and young people aged 2 to 19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). They are now seeking a compassionate, dedicated Qualified Teacher (QTS essential) to join their inspiring team.
As a Qualified Teacher, you will:
Design and deliver personalised, high-quality lessons tailored to meet the complex needs of pupils with PMLD and SLD
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams to support each pupil’s holistic development
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
Continuously monitor, assess, and adapt your teaching strategies to support pupil progress
Build strong partnerships with families to ensure consistent and effective support for pupils
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN, particularly PMLD and SLD
A deep understanding of complex learning needs and a genuine passion for inclusive education
Patience, empathy, and creative adaptability in your teaching approach
A proactive, reflective mindset with the flexibility to thrive in a specialist setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
